The Mount 
Horeb Water Utility is responsible for maintaining approximately 44 miles of distribution water mains as well as two water towers and four wells and reservoirs. The utility supplies water to approximately 2,850 customers with a daily pumping average of 580,000 gallons.
Meter Reading and Billing
Similar to reading your electric meter, Mount Horeb Utilities collects usage data from your water meter with an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) device. Our data collection devices read your meter from a distance and store that information in a format that is then imported into our billing software to help produce your monthly billing statement.
Water Quality
Mount Horeb Utilities routinely monitors the Village’s drinking water according to Federal and State regulations. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water.
